Let’s talk about colors! Changing the color scheme of a quilt can completely change the look and feel of the finished project. Sometimes when I see a pattern, it’s hard to imagine it in any other color scheme than how it was originally designed. So let me help you change it up!
Fabric Collection: Strawberry Lemonade by Sherri & Chelsi
This is originally how I imagined the quilt when I first designed it. Bright colors, very happy feeling to it, and lots of variety. You can’t go wrong with putting this pattern in a bright fabric line. It just looks so fun! Sherri & Chelsi are one of my favorite go-to designers for brighter collections. I have also found Corey Yoder to have some fun fabric lines that meet this theme, including her latest collection Cali & Co.

Fabric Collection: Dainty Meadow by My Sew Quilty Life
What if bright colors are just not your thing? There is so much beauty in a softer, more vintage color scheme that’s easy on the eyes. My Sew Quilty Life is known for her pastel style fabrics and has another fabric line coming out soon called Cottage Charm that will give you this same toned down feel.

Fabric Collection: Rosemary Cottage by Camille Roskelley
Is there such a thing as too many colors? For some quilters, I think so. This color scheme has more of an evening feel to it. I so badly wanted to make another sample quilt in this colorway due to all the low volumes in the Rosemary Cottage collection. It would be stunning! Too bad I just don’t have time, but maybe someone else can do it and then show me on social media!

Fabric Collection: Sunday Brunch by BasicGrey
Let’s go back to bright colors, I can’t help it! This one gives off a more desert feel color scheme. You will definitely be seeing this fabric collection in another pattern I’m writing because I absolutely love it.
