Oh boy – here we go! I am so excited and nervous to be releasing this blog post because we are launching our new Stitch & Bear Designs quilt patterns!
With a new year and new beginnings, I knew this would be the perfect time to release my first quilt pattern. Quilting truly speaks to my heart and is something I absolutely love, so why not base my first pattern around that theme? This quilt turned out so beautiful and romantic with the use of a 3 Sisters fabric line called Rendezvous. Let me introduce a new and beginner friendly quilt pattern called Hopscotch that is now available in my shop!

Attention beginner quilters! This pattern is for you! I love an easy pattern that’s all about squares. The possibilities of what can be created are endless! So here is my version of a squares only quilt for any skill level. Choose fabrics from your stash to make a very fun and scrappy quilt!
Finished Size: 72.5″ x 80.5″
Skill Level: Beginner
Sample Quilt Fabric: Rendezvous by 3 Sisters
Fabric Requirements
- Background: 2 1/4 yards
- Dark Fabric: 1 yard
- Fabric #1: 2 yards
- Fabric #2: 1/4 yard
- Fabric #3: 1/4 yard
- Fabric #4: 1 3/4 yard
- Binding: 3/4 yard
- Backing: 5 1/4 yard
Even though I wrote the fabric requirements in yardage, you can easily take two layers cake and 2 1/4 yards of fabric to make this quilt.
