It’s time! Today I am going to show you the final blocks to Sewcialites 2 sew along by Fat Quarter Shop. I finished sewing the quilt top together and it looks amazing. So let’s get started!

Week 20: Fascinate Block

I decided to make this block look like a party by using a colorful dot background to give interest. It definitely gives me a happy feeling when looking at it.

Week 21: Dapper Block

This week’s block was even easier than last week’s and came together in no time!

Week 22: Ohio Twist Block

If I were to do this block again I would choose different colors. For some reason I am not loving the pink up against that green. It blends together too much and loses the work I put into it. Oh well. It’s going in the quilt and I won’t think anymore about it!

Week 23: Changeling Star Block

I love the yellow I paired with the grey fabric. How stunning! All this block required was a bit of stitch-and-flip and it creates this cool design!

Week 24: Energize Block

This turned out to be one of my favorite blocks of the whole sew along. I think I’m just obsessed over this red gingham fabric. It looks amazing in anything I put it in!

It’s time to put this quilt together! This part took me a while since I had to play with the colors on my design wall to see what I liked. I did go through different phases in order to get the end result I was looking for.

This took me several days, but once I finally liked the layout and made sure all my colors worked together, it was time to sew, sew, sew!

This quilt turned out exactly the way I was hoping for! I wanted a light and bright feeling to it that would lift up any room it’s in. I can’t wait to display this quilt in my house!
